home theater wall question?

- I need something to serve as a divider between my work-in-progress home theater room and a playroom. Both are really made out of one large room. The ceiling is 8′ and the width of the room is 13′. I need something that would go well with chocolate walls and white carpet. It has to be removable, there cannot be any kind of permanent wall between the home theater and playroom. It also must be below $500.00. Any recommendations?

There are pieces of furnature that are finished on both sides, often in the form of a book shelf, they are called room dividers and are specifically for that purpose. You could also look into an acordian folding wall, i think those are pretty tacky however.

Another thing you could do, is build a stud wall that ‘clamps’ into position by pushing upward from the floor to ceiling, cut each 2×4 just a hair long and wedge it into place. Then cover each side with panelling.
