Astro File Manager is a free application available for Android phones. IT enables the views of all the files stored on their phones, return them to your SD card, delete or move files and search for specific files. If you have many different programs stored on an SD card or phone, you can use the Astro File Manager to manage them easily. Step 1: Download Application To use Astro File Manager, you can download from the Android Market. You can go to the market, selecting Market icon from the main menu. Fastest way to find that the application is to select the magnifying glass from the menu of the market. This opens the search menu. Type a name Astro File Manager in the search box and then select the magnifying glass once again. You should see that the application is listed in search results. You can also find the application by selecting Performance category with Applications menu.

Select Astro File Manager, and then app Install to start downloading. Click on OK to consent to access certain information on your application. App then start downloading.

Step 2: Open the program and view files After the download is complete an application, you will be marked on the box at the top of the screen is your home. Use the drop-down access to applications, or you can select it from the main menu.

When the program opens, you will be transferred to the list of all files currently on your phone. Little icons next to each file, determine exactly what type of file(music, photo, program, etc.). This may take some time to appear in the icons, especially if they are pictures, so you may need to wait several seconds before you can say what the file is. You can then scroll through the list to view all the files currently on your phone or on the phone to the SD card.

Step 3: Manage existing file When it comes to a file that does not recognize, you can open it, is it worth it to have. Simply select the file icon to view information about it. If you are looking for a specific file, you can choose Search Options from the main applications menu at the top of the screen. Just type a file name, and then click the magnifying glass to find it.
